Well, it has finally happened!! Fall has come and school is back in session and the homework is flowing into the household. Need an idea to organize all of this? Here it is.... Scan in some of their writing from the first of the school year, scan in the artwork with the file name as the date and child's name or code. Keep the most precious stuff and toss the rest. When you have all the files scanned, you can find them more easily. Then you can put them in the book, size them and you have them forever and no physical mess. It is truly the way to organize.
One more idea... how about scanning all of the stuff you have in your filing cabinet? Now there is a concept for organizing all of the papers we bring home and think we should keep.

Fall is Here
It is amazing that fall is here and it is in the air, infecious in all of its glory. The leaves are changing and the kids are well back into school and our schedules are finally settling down. It is time to get the pictures from summer organized and into a book so they can be remembered. We want all of the memories to be coordinated and the pictures accounted for. That makes everything memorable and worthwhile! If you would like some help, I would love to show you the possibilities!!

Fall is in the air!
Well, school is back in session and we are all wishing we were back on the mountain and enjoying one more day of vacation! I know we all had a really good time this weekend!! I love family camp! So fun to be up in the trees and associating with each other and just plain being around each other in the family is a wonderful thing. I like to spend my off hours putting family stuff together and getting it organized so that it is easier to work on my family history and scrap booking. Getting those pictures together is so fun and then when they print in a book they are so nice. Enjoy what you do!!

The Madness Starts Tomorrow
The new chapter in our lives starts today. This is the week that school starts back in session. I am really looking forward to life getting back to normal and things settling in until November when things in my world will explode once again. The pictures start flowing for High School stuff and those kids are involved in everything and if they aren't, they should be. I hate to see the warm weather come to an end though. I don't think I really got warm yet this summer. The tomatoes are just barely coming on and I am thinking that they are a couple of weeks late. I am finally starting to see my peaches turn but school and activities are just starting to move anyway. Well - take those pics and lets get them into a book where we can have the rememberances that we want to take with us. Digital scrapbooking is the funnest thing since sliced bread. Don't wait, get started!!

Dog Days of Summer
Here we are in the last days before school starts. The weather is stifling most of the time and then it rains and brings with it the relief of extreme heat. I am so grateful for the rain and the smell of sage and rain mixed. Remember to start getting those photos in order so that we can spend the winter getting them into books so we can have a rememberance. Our stories need to be told and that is what we are about. Lets tell our stories so that our families, children and those we love can see what we are about!

August is Here
Wow, I can't believe August is here and fall is right around the corner! I was putting some photos together last night and thinking I have got tons to do!! I love working on my son's books and getting their stuff all lined up so that we can have some memory books. As school becomes closer and closer on the horizon and we know the crazy days of summer are about over, it is more and more apparent that it is time to get back in gear for what we normally do. I love putting the stories of my family history together and I hope that you do too. If you need assistance, let me know and I will do everything I can to help you out.
